SixWiki (sixwiki.com) is an unofficial fan database about Grand Theft Auto VI. This page explains what data the site processes and why. Short version: we run privacy-friendly analytics, we show ads, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It counts page views and referrers without cookies and without building visitor profiles. IP addresses are not stored.
- Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to personalize ads and measure their performance. In the EU/EEA and UK you will see a consent dialog first, and you can refuse personalized ads there. See how Google uses data from partner sites and Google Ads Settings.
- Votes and polls. Up/down votes and poll answers are stored as anonymous counters. A daily rate limit uses your IP address transiently; it is not linked to any profile.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address (via Resend) solely to send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from the list.
- Tips form. If you send us a tip, we store the text you submitted.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing.
- We do not require accounts and do not store passwords.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Cookies
The site itself works without cookies. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense) may set cookies as described above, subject to your consent choices in the EU/EEA/UK. Your browser settings let you clear or block cookies at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold (in practice: your newsletter email or a tip you submitted). Email hello@sixwiki.com and we will handle it promptly.
