Rockstar's official bio casts Boobie Ike as a Vice City legend — one of the rare figures who converted a life on the streets into a genuine, legitimate empire. The holdings Rockstar lists span real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio, giving Boobie a foothold in several corners of the city's economy at once. Video Games Chronicle memorably summarized him as the "strip club gangster" of the May 2025 character reveal, and his own panel on the official cover art — shared billing with Jason, Lucia, and Raul — marks him as one of the story's heavyweights.
The empire's parts feed each other, and Rockstar lets Boobie explain the flowchart himself in Trailer 2: the club money pays for the studio, and the drug money pays for it all. The studio end of that pipeline is Only Raw Records, the label he backs in partnership with Dre'Quan Priest — a partnership Rockstar stresses Boobie has a real stake in, rather than treating it as an arm's-length investment.
It's a very Miami piece of crime fiction: the neighborhood kingpin who becomes a nightlife mogul and community fixture without ever quite leaving the game. Where the empire touches Jason and Lucia's story is unconfirmed — Rockstar has shown the businesses, not the plot.
The series has always loved this archetype. Vice City (2002) was literally a game about assembling such an empire property by property, from the Malibu Club to the Print Works, and GTA V's Trevor ran his own scrappier version through Trevor Philips Enterprises. Boobie is GTA VI's established-generation answer: the empire already built, and everything to lose.
